I'll See You In My Dreams

É uma curta metragem de origem Lusa do ano de 2003, algo inédito no cinema português, uma pelicula que nos traz numa mistura de comédia e terror, o conflicto entre zombies e humanos. O desenrolar da acção passa-se por uma aldeia perdida algures no meio de uma floresta, aldeia essa que é assolada por zombies durante o periodo nocturno, Lucio (Adelino Tavares) tem por tarefa exterminar todos os zombies que encontra, eliminando tambem todos os possiveis humanos infectados, mas guardando em segredo um (a sua mulher Ana (Sofia Aparicio) na cave de sua casa). Uma curta com cerca de 20 minutos realizado por Filipe Melo que desde inicio encontrou grandes dificuldades quer no financiamento quer na própria produção, em 2003 teve a sua estreia no Fantasporto (Festival Internacional de Cinema do Porto) e for hoje encontra-se entre os filmes de culto dentro do genero.

Entre outros actores e actrizes encontramos São José Correia (Nancy a mulher na Taberna), Manuel João Vieira (Sam o homem na Taberna), Rui Unas (Miguel o Padre) e João Didelet (Dário o Tabernista). Por fim a banda sonora do filme pertence a uma das melhores bandas portuguesas, os Moonspell.

Há uns dias vi o filme MASH, uma longa metragem que relata a o dia a dia num hospital de campanha que se encontra junto as linhas da frente (perto do combate) durante o confronto da Coreia (1950-1953.

A diferença entre este e outros filmes e séries do género é que aqui encontramos as situações mais hilariantes que uma equipa de médicos podem fazer, a acção do filme decorre num hospital de campanha em que as personagens utilizam a comédia como terapia para ultrapassar os horrores da guerra. O seu dia a dia decorre com a actividade médica e a tentarem descobrir a melhor maneira de enervar o Maj Frank Burns e a Maj O'Houlligan, as personagens principais são Hawkeye Pierce (Donald Sutherland), Duke Forrest (Tom Skeritt) e John Trapper (Elliout Gould) os heróis, Frank Burns (Robert Duvall) e a Margaret "Hotlips" O'Houlligan (Sally Kellerman) os anti-herois outras personagens de relevo são Walter "Radar" O'Reilly (Gary Burhoff) o cabo da secretaria que sempre se adianta ao comandante, o Henry Blake (Roger Bowen) o comandante e por fim Father Mulcahy (Rene Auberjonois) o capelão.

Um filme de 1970 de Robert Altman que deu origem a uma série genial que durou por 11 épocas com 256 episódios na minha opinião bastante melhor que o filme , sendo seguida por uma segunda série "After MASH" num pós-guerra e "Trapper John M.D" esta sobre o Médico John Trapper anos após a guerra. A quem não conhece recomendo vivamente a ver o filme e principalmente as séries.

Transformers

Há uns dias atrás resolvi ver o filme dos Transformers.

Tendo em conta que era e ainda sou fã da série, posso dizer que não fiquei desapontado com o que vi, apesar de fugir em muito a história original. Os efeitos criados pela Light and Magic em nada ficaram a dever ao entusiastas que foram assistir ao filme. O desempenho dos actores humanos como Shia LaBeouf (Sam Witwicky) e Megan Fox (Mikaela Banes) entre outros foi algures entre o razoalvel e o bom, a batalha entre Optimus Prime e Megatron (as personagens na imagem á esquerda Optimus e a direita Megratron cujas vozes foram atribuidas a Peter Cullen (voz da serie original) e Hugo Weaving respectivamente) uma batalha entre irmãos.

O enredo da história roda a volta da Allspark que é um engenho capaz de dar vida a qualquer equipamento electrónico, objecto vindo do planeta Cybertron que era governado por ambos (Optimus e Megatron). Objecto que se encontra em disputa porque Megatron quer dominar o universo tornando-se na batalha entre o bem e o mal representados pelo Autobots e Decepticons respectivamente.

O final do filme deixa uma pequena abertura para uma possivel sequela sendo que os actores principais aquando do seu contracto assinaram não para um mas sim para três filmes, pessoalmento dou uma classificação de 3,8 num total de 5 estrelas.

Henry V (1989) - Trailer

Henry V

Hoje deixo-vos com um filme de produção europeia de 1989, realizado por Kenneth Branagh.

É uma adaptação da obra de William Shakespeare que nos relata a pretensão de Henry V rei de Inglaterra ao trono francês, sendo que se trata de uma história veridica.

Pessoalmente achei o filme bastante empolgante, falado num inglês da época, com um realismo bastante bom. Com um elenco encabeçado por Kenneth Branagh (Henry V), Paul Scofiel (Charles VI), Ian Holme (como Fluellen), Emma Thompson (Katherine), Alec McCowen (Ely), Judi Dench (como Mistress Quickly), James Simmons (York), Charles Kay (Canterbury), entre outros.

As cenas que destaco com maior gosto são: o enviado francês que se dirige a corte do rei e lhe oferece umas bolas de tenis como resposta as suas pretensões, insultando os ingleses; mesmo antes de partir para frança a descoberta de traidores no seio do comando inglês, a traição do seu primo; as batalhas pelo norte de frança, o rei incita a mais um ataque liderado por si em que 3 soldados resolvem não atacar mas acabam por o fazer incentivados pelo capitão; o enforcar do amigo por este ter roubado, demontrando que ninguem sai impune por crimes; o passear do rei pelo acampamento disfarçado, para descobrir o sentimento dos seus homens por si; o discurso anterior a batalha de Agincourt, o qual deixo um pequeno excerto; a cobardia dos cavaleiros franceses que num acto de desespero assassinas as crianças que acompanham os ingleses (os pagens) junto a bagagem das tropas inglesas; e por fim o enlace romantico entre o rei inglês e a filha do rei francês, onde a dificuldade de se expressarem na lingua do outro dá um toque de humor ao filme.

Pessoalmente dou 4 em 5 estrelas a este filme.
Uma pequena nota, a primeira vez que vi este filme foi algures durante a decada de 90, voltei a ve-lo desta feita em timor em 2001, quando regressei já em 2002 adquiri o filme através da Fnac onde consegui arranjar uma edição vinda de inglaterra sem legendagem pois na altura não havia disponivel em portugal apenas por importação e não havia com legendagem, mas só a uns dias resolvi voltar a ver, tendo me inspirado para criar este blog.
